Mental Health Registered Nurse — Australia, 2026 (Visa Sponsorship)
An excellent opportunity is available for qualified Mental Health Registered Nurses and Mental Health Clinicians to build a long-term career in Australia in 2026. The employer offers full visa sponsorship and relocation support, with pathways toward permanent residency via the ENS (subclass 186) for eligible candidates, as well as positions on temporary skilled visas such as the 482.

About the role
You will deliver recovery-focused, evidence-based mental health care within multidisciplinary teams. Duties include assessment, care planning, therapeutic interventions, crisis support, medication administration and maintaining accurate clinical records. Roles are available across inpatient units and community settings, and you’ll receive structured professional development and training.
Visa and relocation support

Key responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, recovery-oriented nursing care in inpatient and/or community settings.
- Perform comprehensive mental health and risk assessments and contribute to care plans.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions, crisis management and patient education.
- Administer and monitor medications according to clinical protocols.
- Keep accurate, compliant clinical documentation and reports.
- Work within the Mental Health Act, professional standards and local policies.
- Contribute positively to team culture and patient safety.
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) and current AHPRA registration (or eligible to register).
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in mental health nursing or relevant clinical roles.
- Strong skills in psychiatric assessment, risk formulation, and evidence-based interventions.
- Excellent communication, clinical judgement and teamwork skills.
- Postgraduate qualification in mental health nursing is highly regarded.
- Willingness to relocate to Australia and commit to a sponsored long-term role; eligibility for employer-sponsored skilled visas.
