POSITION: Finance Manager

Global Sky Limited is seeking a Finance Manager to join our team. Your Mission

You will lead budget preparation, financial forecasting, and long term financial planning. Your role spans all accounting operations including payroll, invoicing, receivables, and payables. You will monitor cash flow, revenue streams, and cost control measures across departments while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and audits. Additionally, you will support tender processes, contract costing, and pricing for security services, providing financial insights that drive smart business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Your role spans financial planning, operations, compliance, team leadership, and strategic support. Here is what you will tackle:

Financial Planning & Analysis

• You will lead the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and long term financial planning, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Monitoring cash flow, revenue streams, and cost control measures across all departments keeps spending in check and profitability on track.
• Providing financial insights to support business decisions and growth strategies positions you as a trusted advisor to leadership.

Accounting Operations

• You will oversee all accounting operations including payroll, invoicing, receivables, and payables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensuring timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports keeps stakeholders informed and audit ready.

Compliance & Internal Controls

• You will develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls that safeguard company assets.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and audits protects our license to operate.
• Liaising with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies requires professionalism and diplomacy.

Team Leadership & Strategic Support

• You will supervise and mentor the finance team, including Finance Officers, building capacity and ensuring continuity.
• Supporting tender processes, contract costing, and pricing for security services demonstrates your commercial awareness.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree gives you a distinct advantage.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, ICA, CIMA, or an equivalent is highly preferred.

Experience

• A minimum of five to eight years of relevant experience, preferably within the security, services, or logistics industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
