Job Duties

• Develop configurations and customisations across Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter using Gosu.
• Implement product model enhancements including coverages, conditions, and business logic.
• Build and maintain integrations using Guidewire messaging, batch processing, plugins, and Integration Gateway capabilities.
• Develop connectivity across policy, billing, claims, document generation, payment, and reinsurance platforms.
• Implement business rules, validation logic, and configuration standards across the InsuranceSuite environment.
• Support Guidewire Cloud upgrades, configuration improvements, and cloud adoption initiatives.
• Develop automated testing, unit testing, and regression testing for Guidewire solutions.
• Create and maintain PCF customisations aligned with Guidewire development practices.
• Extend Guidewire entity models and implement data model enhancements while preserving platform compatibility.
• Profile and optimise application performance across Gosu logic and database interactions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and engineering standards initiatives.
• Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with subject matter experts to deliver sustainable resolutions.
• Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to refine and deliver requirements.
• Stay current with Guidewire platform updates and insurance technology trends.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of Guidewire development experience.
• Strong expertise in Gosu programming and Guidewire data modelling.
• Hands-on experience customising PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter.
• Strong understanding of product modelling and rule implementation.
• Experience building Guidewire integrations using messaging, batch processing, and plugins.
• Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud Platform environments.
• Strong SQL knowledge and understanding of Guidewire database structures.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Guidewire certifications provide additional advantage.
• Experience supporting Guidewire Cloud upgrades is beneficial.
• Exposure to Guidewire Digital portals, DataHub, or InfoCenter platforms is valuable.
• Insurance domain experience across property and casualty environments is preferred.
