Available Roles and Responsibilities
The programme primarily recruits for two distinct tracks. The Field Engineer Trainee position focuses on direct operational delivery, including safe service execution, customer engagement, job risk analysis, and quality improvement initiatives. The Maintenance Technician track centres on ensuring operational readiness of equipment through preventive maintenance, repair, and failure investigation. This role demands hands-on competency and problem-solving skills to maintain reliability standards.
Eligibility Requirements
Candidates for the Field Engineer Trainee position must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline. Recent graduates with 0-2 years of post-graduation experience are preferred. Strong teamwork, adaptability, and proficiency in English (written and spoken) are also essential.
For the Maintenance Technician role, a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required, along with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in maintenance of well test or downhole electronics equipment. Competency in failure investigation and root cause analysis is highly valued.
