About the Role

Fruit Micro Credit is looking for a proactive professional to support its lending operations in Accra and Kasoa. This position focuses on client acquisition, credit assessment, and loan recovery. Therefore, success depends on your ability to manage risk, enforce repayment discipline, and deliver consistent results.

In addition, the role requires regular interaction with clients, which means you must combine analytical skills with strong interpersonal abilities.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will take ownership of the full credit cycle. You will not only issue loans but also ensure that clients meet their repayment obligations.

Your responsibilities include:

Identify and onboard qualified micro and small business clients based on company guidelines
Conduct detailed client assessments, loan appraisals, and field investigations
Disburse loans and monitor repayment to maintain a Portfolio at Risk below the required threshold
Follow up consistently with overdue clients and enforce recovery procedures
Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
Educate clients on financial management and promote digital repayment options

Furthermore, you will play a key role in reducing default rates and strengthening the company’s loan portfolio.

What You Need to Succeed

To perform well in this position, you must stay focused, disciplined, and results driven. At the same time, you should feel comfortable working in demanding field conditions.

The ideal candidate should have:

At least one year of experience in microfinance or credit operations
A diploma or degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Effective negotiation and debt recovery abilities
Proven track record in managing loan portfolios and controlling delinquency
Ability to meet targets under pressure
Riding or driving skills will provide an added advantage
